And This Is Probably The Reason Why

I don’t watch reality TV shows. I never have gotten into them and then this summer I started watching So You Think You Can Dance. And tonight? They voted off my two favorite dancers. There are only four dancers left and I do so love two of the four, but it just isn’t the same. I really thought the two they voted off tonight would win. I am ashamed to admit this, but I STARTED CRYING when they voted Pasha off. Seriously? They kept Danny over Pasha? And Sabra over Lauren? What the fuck, America? What were you thinking?

(I would like to say that I am thrilled Neil is still on the show. He gives me very nice dreams. Mm, Neil.)

Hell we get our own version of that here, and it SUCKS BIG TIME… I hate it…..

I hate reality tv (well except for American Inventor). But now you’ve got me all intrigued about this Neil character - I may have to have a quick looky loo.

I know! Back when Chris Daughtry was on American Idol and was voted off…I cried and I sulked. I vowed never to watch the show again. But reality television, that seductive temptress, just keeps luring me back.

I will agree that Pasha getting kicked off was a travesty, but I’m all about Sabra…. having said that, I do think Lauren got shafted. Lacey is the one who should have gotten the boot. My theory about Danny and Lacey is that since they have siblings who were on last season, there must be some grassroots effort to get them lots and lots of votes — on the coattails of their brothers (Lacey’s brother Benji won last year and Danny’s half brother or step brother Travis was a huge favorite)

well… I like Danny, he fascinates me - and I like Neil, so I was okay with the two of them being left — not that I didn’t like Pasha - in fact with those six I was completely confused about who they would vote off - I was very sad to see Lauren go - I was hoping Lacey would go (because frankly, she dances wonderfully, but something about her bugs the shit outta me)- I have to tell you Sabra is my favorite - I hope she wins the whole thing - I think she’s amazing!!!

I have to say… I haven’t watched this. And now, I’m kinda glad. I get way too worked up over this sort of thing!

Should I just slink off now or admit that I am cheering for Lacey and Danny to win…

(Tries to avoid all the rotten tomatoes being hurled in my direction…)

I’m not a reality tv person either, but I love this show!

Danny and Sabra are my favorites, so I’m cool with it.
