Cleatus: What’s up with the fridge? Stuff doesn’t seem that cold.
Me: I know. It’s been like that a couple days. I ate a piece of warm cheese today. It was icky.
Cleatus: Great. Just great.
Opening the fridge and freezer doors, listening, touching weird parts of the fridge that I didn’t know existed…
Cleatus: The fan isn’t blowing. God damn it.
Me: Oh, thank God. This thing is so dirty. Let’s just get a new one. I hate cleaning out fridges.
Cleatus: sighing and walking away
Me: happily surfing the internet for new refrigerators

our ice maker broke and i thought ok, let’s call the repair guy get it fixed OR find out it is too much and just buy a new one. hubby says i need to defrost it so he can FIX it ??? yea like that is going to happen. we bought ice cube trays last week.

Hmmmmm I wonder if that would work with our stove/oven? See we just got a new stainless steel fridge in Jan, and hubby says we have to wait to get the matching stove and dishwasher until we NEED it! I’m thinking I need to help him understand how badly we NEED it. I can’t stand having an offwhite stove nestled next to the stainless steel fridge. And then the black dishwasher is an eyesore! I was everything before I put it in the dishwasher.
The next time I bake something, oh lets say a Turkey Pot Pie, I’ll only bake it so far along…hubby will bite into it and spit out a frozen pea and I’ll exclaim; “honey, you know something is wrong with the oven, it just doesn’t get hot enough!” And being that the hubby HATES and will not fix anything (He’s British, enough said), I will get my new stove!
Gosh Karly, whilst I know you didn’t break your fridge, you’ve given me the inspiration I needed!

But, we have had problems with our new fridge since the beginning, so they may look nice, but they don’t always work right. UGH!
