Some more lovin’

February 19, 2007

Back to our regularly scheduled boring blog days here. Here’s some more love for ya.

One of my newest and most favorite-est blogs is Girl Exposed or Jenny Haha or Flawed and Disorderly or whatever the fuck you wanna call her. (All the links go to the same place, pick one and click it.) She is one funny girl. The first post I read of hers was just back in January and I was literally laughing out loud. And then I read this. And this. And I nearly peed myself from the laughter. She duct tapes her children into diapers, which is something I have wanted to do to Emma for a long, long time but never had the guts. For that, she is my hero.

Next up is Joy Unexpected. I’m not sure what it is about her, but she’s just funny and down to earth. And she does aerobic dancing, which DUH! That right there makes her cool!

I am also secretly in love with Carmen from Mom to the Screaming Masses.  She helps motivate me to get skinny. Although, I’m not skinny at all yet, so scratch that motivation thing. She does help me think about wanting to be skinny though, and that has to count for something right? Also, she steals lemonade, and I just find that funny.

Mrs. Flinger is another fav of mine, but she is taking a bloggy break. She will hopefully be back soon.

Gotta mention My Mommy’s Place. She wrote me a haiku! And she told me she likes to jump her husband when she’s mad at him! And she’s my long lost twin sister or something. Except that she can sing and I can not.

We all love Jessica from Oh, The Joys. I’m not even going to link to any of her funny posts, because how in the hell would I pick from them all? Although, if you are a park ranger in need of a little loving, I’m going to highly encourage you to check her site out.

ENOUGH. And I’m still not done! Jesus God, I read a lot of blogs. I’ll be back with the last of the alphabet. Or maybe I won’t be. Maybe something blogable (totally a word) will happen to me. I am about to go get a Grande Iced Carmel Macchiato with Whip Cream and we all know what those do to me.

A little linky lovin’

February 16, 2007

I dunno what the hell is going on with me lately, but I just can not think of anything fun to blog about it. Maybe its because I’ve been stuck in the house due to snow or sick kids or sick kids and snow. Whatever it is, its getting old. So, today is another nothing to blog about day, but I thought I’d share a little love with y’all. Here are a few of my most favorite* blogs in the world. When they pop up on Google Reader as a new post I actually pee my pants a little from the excitement!

I’m sure you’ve all read Boo Mama before.  But, just in case you haven’t, be sure to check her out. My favorite thing about her is that she reminds me of all my crazy old great-aunts from Missouri who talk all southern and are generally just crazy old women. (Don’t tell her I said that, because she may not take it as a compliment, although I assure you, IT REALLY, REALLY IS. I love those old women. They crack my shit up! And, no, I don’t think Boo Mama is old. She just reminds me of them. Oh, God. She is going to hate me after reading this. If she reads it. And I’d be thrilled if she did, because HOLY TOLEDO, BOO MAMA READ MY BLOG!)

Another fav of mine is Busy Mom. She’s just funny. ‘Nuff said.

Chirky. She’s like a real live person. Not just a little voice in my computer.

Jeana at Days To Come is another favorite. Mostly because of this post.

Yea, I’m sure you’ve all read Finslippy, but damn, she cracks me up. Especially her post about granola. I mean really? Granola? Who can write a whole damn post about granola? Finslippy can! And it’ll make you laugh, too.

Well, that took you through the beginning of the F’s of the blogs that I’m subscribed to. I’ll post more later. If you haven’t checked out any of these sites, be sure to click the link…you’ll love them. And who knows, one day you just might subscribe to eleventy billion blogs like me!

*If I didn’t link to you, that doesn’t mean you aren’t a favorite. I read A LOT of blogs and so I’m being extra choosy and having to leave out some really, really great blogs. I’m sorry. I still love you. I still read you. You are my BFF.
